Activate your Self-Service Account and Log into Student Email

At ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp you are automatically assigned an official email address after you have been accepted to the college. Once you have you will be able to log into your student email account for the first time. Your student email account is linked to your Self-Service and Canvas accounts. To access your student email account you will use your ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp username and password.

Step 1: Activate your

Use your Student ID number and ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp username to log in. Your ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp username is the first 15 characters of your last name + your first initial + the last 4 digits of your student ID number. User names do not contain spaces, hyphens, or other special characters.

Step 2: Go to

To access your student email account, click Sign In, and enter your ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp username + @durhamtech.edu. On the next page, you will enter the password you created when you activated your ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp student account and then click the Sign-in button. Once signed in, you will be directed to your Outlook inbox. If you want to access Outlook through your Office 365 dashboard, click on Outlook in the left sidebar.

This is the official channel ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp will use to correspond with students. You may notice that you already have several unread messages. You want to ensure you are checking your email account frequently so you don't miss any important information from ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp.
