Respiratory Therapy

University Transfer Options

The Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy degree engages students in additional study in administration, research, and critical care and prepares graduates to assume leadership positions in the field of respiratory care. There are two routes to a bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)

UNC-Charlotte (UNCC)

UNC-Charlotte (UNCC) offers a pathway for ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp students who complete a Respiratory Therapy AAS degree to transfer into program.

This program is a 2+2 program, meaning that you are admitted to the University with an associate's degree and complete the last two years of the bachelor's degree online through this program.

UNC-Wilmington (UNCW)

UNC-Wilmington (UNCW) also offers ²Ê¿â±¦µäapp students who complete a Respiratory Therapy AAS degree a pathway to earning a through their online program.

Associate in Science (AS)

Students without a Respiratory Therapy AAS degree who know they wish to earn a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy at UNC Wilmington (UNCW) should follow the Associate in Science plan of study using .
